Anna Wintour interviews Meryl Streep about "The Post"

I thought this was a joke when I first saw the headline, but it's not. And it's amazing. I love listening to Meryl talk about stuff like this and didn't think it was possible to enjoy her any more than I already do, but this may have done it. Check out the special Vogue December cover below. Let the campaign officially begin.

  1. Gosh great little interview, Meryl can say so much with so little. Glad she got in first with the Weinstein thing before being asked. Is she truly on the cover again? In 2012 she became the oldest woman to get the cover, has she broken her own record?!

    2. She looks beautiful. Kinda leaves me feeling she has about 2 songs and 3 lines in the next Mamma Mia though :(

    3. Meryl looks great and the interview is good. I love the moment The Devil wears Prada. Why do you think that she has small role in next MM?

    4. Meryl is still in England shooting Mamma Mia 2 at Shepperton Studios that's why she could not attend the American Cinematheque Award for Amy Adams on Nov. 10. You should follow producer Judy Craymer instagram. For now they do a good job for not showing Meryl pictures at all just to keep a secret but I'm sure they will send out the first official picture of Meryl as Donna soon enough. No way Meryl will have 2 songs and 3 lines that's for sure.

    1. Those qualities helped her become the actress she is!

Jeff, I saw the trailer for 3 billboards earlier which looks terrific, is it out soon in the US?

  3. Meryl mentions "male gays" or maybe "male ways" when talking about what she is teaching her daughters. Anyone catch what exactly she says - male gays doesn't make sense. Thanks

    1. She says "male gaze." Sounds like "gays," but she means "gaze." It's a term: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Male_gaze
