Trailer expected this week for "The Post"

I read on Awards Watch tonight that there is speculation in the Twitter universe that a trailer for The Post is expected before the end of the month, which means this week.

I'm not sure how much we can rely on this predictor, but apparently Clayton Davis from Awards Circuit also has reason to believe that a trailer will be released this week. It's not that crazy to expect that we get our first glimpse of the film at the end of September. I doubt it will be a full trailer, more likely a teaser running about 45 to 80 seconds.

I hope they're right!

  1. Jeff, I just saw Meryl's pic with Michael Moore for the latter's broadway show...it only means 2 things: either she has yet to go to Croatia to film Mamma Mia or she has already wrapped filming. My guess is she hasn't started filming yet (Andy Garcia's participation was only announced this week). David

    1. I agree that she probably hasn't started her filming yet. And yup, saw Andy Garcia was added, no word yet on his character. Maybe a new love interest for Meryl?? And how good did Meryl look at the Michael Moore thing?!

  3. This person's prediction that we'll see a trailer is bullshit if nothing is released today, which I doubt will happen since it's the weekend.

    1. I have a theory (which is becoming more believable by the day) that the trailer will be released on Monday, October 2, which is 40 years to the day that her first film (Julia) was released. It would be so cute and special.
