Streep's reading of "The Testament of Mary" up for Audie Award

Publishers Weekly is reporting that The Testament of Mary is one of three finalists for Audiobook of the Year.  Meryl of course provided the narration for Colm Tóibin's novel.  Streep joins Billy Crystal (Still Foolin' 'Em) and Bryan Cranston, who narrated Tim O'Brien's The Things They Carried.

Since Streep's reading was released last fall, I've wished for a film version of the book/play.  Still waiting (probably forever) for news of that.  The Audie Awards will be revealed at a gala in New York City on May 29.

  1. Since this was released last year, am I right in saying Meryl could have been nominated for this year's Grammys but wasn't?
