The cast just keeps growing! Multiple sources are reporting that Zach Galifianakis has joined season 4 of Only Murders in the Building, joining other new additions Kumail Nanjiani, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria and Molly Shannon.
No word on the specifics of Galifianakis's role (as has been the case with all other casting updates). Filming is currently underway. I expect we're likely to get a premiere on Hulu sometime late summer, similar to last season.
I don't think so, season 3 started filming in December and ended in April so probably more like Fall
ReplyDeleteWord has it that Meryl has already completed filming her part in OMITB which amounted to only one episode. But at the same time, I don't think there's any film or stage project in the pipeline. Her next appearance is in iHEART radio honoring Cher.

DeleteThere is literally no indication of this, lol, especially when she was just in NY as we saw.
DeleteIf she was in only one episode she wouldn't have been in NY only LA, and there's still the finale.
DeleteAnd Oliver could FaceTime her as well, so there's no way you could know that for sure.

DeleteI don't think she isn't interested in filming anymore, it's more like she may have other things going on in her life right now that are more important, more fun, more rewarding than making movies. Still, she hasn't been absent like that for a long time so my guess is as good as yours.
ReplyDeleteMeryl's acting career has been perfect, but I'm still hoping she'll wrap it up with another good movie. The quality of her work in recent years has not been great.
DeleteThis is so funny. Meryl went to Jonathan Groff's play (with Martin Short) and filmed his dressing room with a Barbra Streisand homage and then sent the video to Streisand herself. Video is between 3:00 and 5:00. Enjoy!
