While I'd love to experience the songs for the first time when I see the movie (particularly Meryl's individual performances), I'm pretty sure I'll have a tough time waiting.
The Prom will stream on December 11.
Wow December is really going to spoil us!
ReplyDeleteI've made no secret of my wish for Meryl to complete her EGOT so hope this is top notch with the chance at a Grammy
I'm just hoping that the filmed isn't too panned.
DeleteAny thoughts on Wear Your Crown? :P
ReplyDeleteI didn't like it all that much. People freak about Meryl wrapping but it's not like the character is meant to sound like that's her usual genre. I'm glad this is just an end credits song (I think?).
DeleteI'm also generally a little anxious about how I'll feel about the songs in general. I know it won't be Sondheim, but hopefully it's not pure cheese. Either way, I think most folks like myself are mostly hoping for something that makes us feel good.
Meryl up for a Grammy for narrating "Charlotte's Web"!
