The upcoming documentary Shout Gladi Gladi, narrated by you-know-who, saw its first full-length trailer released last week:
Named for the celebration that occurs when women are cured from obstetric fistula (an injury sustained during child delivery), the film covers the frightening lack of adequate maternal healthcare available to most women in Africa.
Meryl once again lending her voice talents to an important cause. Shout Gladi Gladi will be released in the U.S the first week of October.

ReplyDeleteI see on the Imdb page for Florence Foster Jenkins that it is expected in theaters November 24, 2016. So we have quite a wait for this one. No news on any other filming. :(
Oh man that's rough. Over a year with still no projects on the horizon... At least that date, if it's accurate, means that FFJ will be a strong awards contender. Not knowing the tone of the film I thought it might turn out to be another light August release but with that date hopefully Meryl will be around for all the awards shows next year that she'll miss out on this year. But yes I feel your pain! I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about new projects especially with Meryl being as in demand as she is.
